And it's not like FALLOUT 3 didn't have tons of bugs at release that were gradually ironed out through patches either.

KotOR 2 had the makings of being the best STAR WARS thing ever (okay, maybe excepting Matt Stover's TRAITOR novel and of course EMPIRE STRIKES BACK) but was left unfinished. Though the fan patches have solved most of the problems (but not all).

I'm not sure how you can 'disagree' that the game was rushed and unfinished though, since you said it was rushed and unfinished :) LucasArts suddenly cut development time by a third, so it's less of a surprise that the game was unfinished but more impressive that the game hangs together as well as it does (and you can certainly finish the game in a mostly satisfying way for your character, but the NPCs are left hanging in the air).
