It seems fitting to me that I start here with another of my Download Cave Story posts (not that I really believe it will gather any more interest than the ones at Wotmania Games board).

So, basically Cave Story is this really great 2D sidescrolling adventure game which is entirely made by one guy. It has great replay value(because it's so fun!) and has good story, three different endings, great music and beatiful sprite graphics.
Search anywhere for it and I quarantee the comments and possible reviews you may find will be positive.


QFT. It's one of the best games on the internet and in addition to what's mentioned above, there is a fairly major way of altering the story part way through as well as some bonus dialogue for explorers. I can't actually say much more without spoiling the game, so play it already. Really.
