KINGDOM COME is a pretty grim work featuring all the traditional DC heroes--Flash, Superman, Wonderwoman, Batman--tied in with pretty heavy (for a comic) religious themes.

Batman frequently goes totally over the top with it. A SERIOUS HOUSE ON SERIOUS EARTH is like a fever dream.
