The constantly changing voice thing could get annoying on TV. I disagree about Croaker though. It is his story and the entire book is about how he saw the men of the Black Company the show isn't told from his point of view that will grossly change the feel and texture of the story more than a few plot points that are changed or even how stunning the Lady is. If it isn't Croakers story then it isn't the Annals of the Black Company.
