I say we should not take ANY action on global environmental stuff until China & India make it up Cannoli Send a noteboard - 02/06/2017 04:21:02 PM

As for as the climate change issue goes, we aren't not nearly as bad as they are, and UNLIKE China & India, we have arctic territory. Which means global warming will benefit us far more than them. India should be scared shitless about global warming and rising sea levels, so they should take the lead in reducing emissions and population growth. Until they do, we can assume the problem is not all that serious. And if it DOES get that serious, our country has plenty of resources shielded from rising oceans by the Appalachian and Rocky Mountains. If global warming makes that armpit of the nation called the Gulf Coast, or the dry crusty asshole of the nation in the Southwest unlivable, there is lots of room up north, with the only thing between us and colonization of a newly temperate zone being the speed bump of a Canadian military often directed by the likes of Trudeau. The next socialist who makes a competent military leader will be the first, so global warming really only means that everyone in North America might end up spelling 'color' and pronouncing "Z" properly. And that can't be a bad thing. And even if we were inclined to be nice to them, our largest state is still Alaska. We could fit in there just fine. I'm not losing any sleep over climate change, regardless of whether or not it is more likely than CO2 emissions eroding the seal on the Dark One's prison.
