Not saying the don't exist and I do admit to not reading much international press beyond some UK sources and the occasional English translation of Der Spiegel. I did take a look at the Spiegel headlines today and they only had one story on their front page that wasn't about how much they hate Trump. Didn't see any articles of concern over how the US views Germany but maybe I didn't look hard enough.

You can read the intentional press on a regular basis. Try reading the Economist or Der Spiegel (international edition) for a year. You're a product of the sources you listen to and read. If you're only getting your news sources from American sources, then you won't know what other people think of the US unless you encounter tourists a lot.
