They aren't the gluten-free crust, kale, heirloom tomato, and grilled tofu protein topping pizza that is Democrats. And they aren't the pepperoni, ham, bacon, and sausage pizza that is Republicans.

Sure, sometimes they have bell pepper and mushrooms...but those may turn off some of those Red State people. And sometimes they may have Pepperoni on just one half of the pizza...but that may upset some of those Blue State people. So they just stay with Cheese.

To have a good pizza party, you have to have all kinds of pizza there, but it's tough to get truly excited about the Cheese pizza. Sometimes it's the only palatable option available, but again, it's not often you come across someone who specifically seeks out just the Cheese pizza.
