And I know how vox is, but I appreciated having the information pulled together in one place. It's also why I mentioned that I'm still skeptical of accepting it without doing my own work.

I suspect that people would use truck bombs more or other modalities if we implemented gun control, because (1) our society is angry, (2) many people feel isolated, and (3) we have really shitty mental health care.

I tend to agree with some of that, actually. But that's why I think we should be discussing it hardcore, and addressing those points as part of the whole. I own guns, and I know more than a few people for whom the phrase "you can pry them out of my cold, dead hands" would be accurate. It's difficult all around.
