The FDP wasn't going to cave on their demands to keep the "migrants" from being able to drag their oversized families along with them. The Greens, meanwhile, seem intent on destroying the human portion of their country as long as the environment survives.
Of course, I'd like to see AfD get to 15-20% and see Merkel have to make a deal with them at the end of the day. They're a one-issue party that never would have existed had Merkel not completely taken leave of her senses and allowed in a massive influx of unskilled and untrainable drains on the economy.
Either that, or I'd like to see Merkel forced to step down and let a person who takes a harder stance on immigration (like, hell, her counterpart in the CSU, Seehofer) take over. Then AfD might actually decline in favor of a CDU-CSU union that is once more sane.
What the Hell was Merkel thinking? Personal compassion considerations that make no logical or economic sense drive the Left, not the Right.
