Lord Valentine's Castle by Robert Silverberg random thoughts Send a noteboard - 17/01/2018 05:04:03 PM

Technically part of a series but t works as a stand alone novel and you could call it science fiction but I wouldn't. Either way it was good book when I read it in 1980.

I know a lot of great stand alone science fiction but fantasy writers really love the long series and I can't think of many good stand alone pure fantasy books. The best I can think of is War of the Flowers by Tad Williams.
