I haven't "cut the cord" at this point but I really only watch the TV from time to time if there is something important (truly "breaking news", not the everyday kind, or when the Cubs were in the World Series, or new Game of Thrones episodes).
I sometimes watch up to 1 hour of on demand shows on Netflix, Amazon Prime or Kartina TV if I'm being particularly lazy, but that doesn't have commercials.
Political correctness is the pettiest form of casuistry.
