As to the point of your post, the company I work for is European based so we have had all this stuff for years. Full spousal benefits for live-in partners whatever their gender, family leave for both parents, we already have it. I’m used to it. Nor are these impediments to ones career path. Quite the contrary, the company prioritizes promotion of women, minorities and LGBTQ candidates.
