Not only are the different viruses with Covid19 be an order of magnitude more lethal which doesn't just it kills more people it puts more people in the hospital which overloads the healthcare system. Even more importantly we have a vaccine for the flu which allows you protect the vulnerable and health care workers.

The real problem is people have politicized the crises and more people are emotionally invested in believing it is hype.
