Just what it says on the tin. I'm interested in reading the takes of people here on the subject.

Is most defined as absolute numbers of cases and deaths? If not, we are not suffering the most. We are comparable to parts of Europe.

We are 11th in cases per 100,000 since the start of the pandemic.
We are 14th in cases per 100,000 in the past 7 days.

We are 13th in deaths per 100,000 since the start of the pandemic.
We are 32nd in deaths per 100,000 in the past 7 days.

Anyway, here are some reasons why we are suffering more than we should/could be suffering.

Our Federal structure.
Our President.
Our history of heightened individualism.
Our living arrangements.
Our views on science.

But here's the question for you - why is our current daily average comparable to Sweden's and Austria's?
