If acquiring voter ID doesn't come with ludicrous hurdles that mount depending on your zip code, your race, your wealth and your perceived political leaning.

Yes, the appearance of fraud can test public trust in elections. So can the inability to vote for reasons beyond your control.

So if you're going to require ID, you also have to make it so that everyone who is eligible to vote can get the ID with minimal effort.

Outer countries with much larger voting populations do it, so there really is no excuse for the US. Except that election integrity isn't really the point of the latest laws, which is why people object.


Getting an ID shouldn't be a problem. What hurdles do you mean ?
