It's colonization without the name, and perpetual war, benefiting the business elite, whose activities are not disrupted, but can sell goods at government prices, not to mention the opportunities in finance and other such profits only available to the bankers and money market insiders, while also giving excuses for the political elite to do whatever they want under the guise of war-time measures.
