Kind of scary that Quayle schooled Pence, huh? Jesus...

I know about the drunk Nixon account. Notice that the military under his command chose to disregard his orders. They didn't call the Soviet commander and offer to keep him appraised if anything changed.

I also agree there are likely many far worse stories we will never be told.
