Were you in Neptune between 2016 and 2020? Otherwise I don't know what makes you imagine that the 25th Amendment would have been invoked for anything by the lickspittles and toadies in the Trump cabinet.
Notice the first contact with China was at the end of October, before the election. Plenty of time.
Plenty of time? For what, exactly?
Uh huh. And this inspires confidence in you about the 25th Amendment being invoked successfully? I really want to know what chain of thought allows for that conclusion to be reached.
And suppose they went public, and shock of shocks, the Cabinet dismissed Pelosi as a partisan back, and the General got fired.. this would have been a success how?
The fact is, talking with China was a more likely scenario for success than hoping for some kind of miracle with the 25th amendment. If fucking asking for election interference from a foreign nation on the White House phone isn't an impeachable offence, nor instigating an insurrection, you've gotta be truly disconnected from reality to imagine that there was any legal/Constitutional way to constrain Trump here.
He'd probably find himself dead, or ostracized at the very least. He'd still be absolutely right, of course. Even more so, to be honest, because India and Pakistan have way worse command/control setups for their nukes.
