I believe that "someone else" was Marin, btw. This also seems like Moiraine's entrance/introduction to the Two Rivers folk.

So... I guess this is a complete rewrite of the Emond's Field scenes, with no subterfuge on Moiraine's part.

Not that I feel one particular way or the other about this, but there seems to be a lot of this going on with the plot. It may work to the benefit of the show, but I have a feeling this will be a mixed bag at best.
