That he seems like a regular guy. He doesn't seem like a supervillain or the avatar/incarnation of an evil deity. Just like a regular guy you'd meet on the street or in a classroom or something. Like I inadvertently call him by his own name instead of his character.

Also a form of mock penance for ripping on the show for casting the canonically Arabic Leane with an Asian. Because the dutiful, practical but timid assistant, who then loosens up and becomes a stereotypical of her culture sexpot is a GREAT role for an Asian actress. So it's my way of acknowledging that they got a middle easterner in there anyway.

I suppose from the outside, it's not a particularly well-thought-out in-joke.
