It's probably not that big of a deal you missed it. Someone paid for an article.
No doubt they could dial up the heat for you. There is an Indian take out in Bridgeport that specializes in Northern Indian dishes. When they ask me how much heat I want, I say as hot as you would make it for yourself or family.
