The Paranoid style is a component of all humans but also certain personas use it more often as a favorite defense mechanism.
Furthermore certain contexts and environments of "group psychology" can enhance it or diminish it. We create a group joy that is more sustainable and reaches higher heights for we all participate together. Team Sports for example or many types of "fan media", we and not I are entertaining ourselves to the point of nonsense.
Likewise if a culture is built on some form of caste system you see more and more of it. etc, etc far more points about the paranoid style but hey I am sick of it so I am stopping.

( I am getting really tired of insular cult thinking that tv, radio, and especially certain types of internet bring. But hey it is so ubiquitous, so dominating in its everyday effects, it is like throwing stones ... you do not need a specific target to try to hit, just throw a stone and it will hit someone and it would be true.
It is the inverse of social grooming instead of cleaning each other and everyone mutually becoming more relaxed ... we are finding faults in one another and assigning debts. )
