My view is the same, you take a big chance when your employer who relies in a big way on public goodwill wants everyone to behave one way and you say 'no, that offends my morality'.
It helps a lot if a majority of the public are sympathetic to the opinion you're expressing.
It probably helps even more if a majority of the key demographic (hockey fans, in this case) are sympathetic.
Hollywood has the best moral compass, because it has compassion.
It's 2023 and I'm taking the side of a Putin-loving Russkie in a sport I don't care about.
