I am fairly sure that absolutely none of the "rockers" of his generation would have approved of 81 year olds still touring & performing the songs they were writing & recording, in the 1960s. I rather think a lot of them would have been jumping onto airplanes on their 27th birthdays to avoid aging into such farcical parodies of themselves and their spirit.
