Was Biden ever really competent, though? Tom Send a noteboard - 30/06/2024 01:33:00 PM

This is a guy who barely got through law school, and that by plagiarism. He was never the sharpest tool in the shed, even back in the 1980s. He pandered to the lowest common denominator of racism, as well, leading the charge against Justice Clarence Thomas, calling blacks "superpredators" and infamously saying that in Barack Obama, the Democrats finally had a black candidate who was "clean and articulate".

His wife is a retard, too. She couldn't even hack community college for more than a semester until she started seeing Joe (apparently as part of an affair that predated his former wife's death in a car crash). Then miraculously she graduates from, of all places, the University of Delaware (he's already a Senator at this point) and then goes on to get her bullshit doctorate that leads her to desperately cling to the title "Doctor", like two-bit hack lawyers in a small town cling to the "Esq." they can put after their name. Laughable.

Let's not even start on how stupid Hunter is, the "smartest man" Joe knows. I'm actually not surprised he said that, given he's surrounded himself with people who need to ride the short bus, probably so his own shortcomings in the intellectual sphere aren't as noticeable.

His team has people like Tony Blinken, who seems to have singlehandedly destroyed US foreign policy through incompetence, the obese male admiral who dresses like a woman but claims to have some experience in issues of physical and mental health, and Mayorkas, who is attempting to completely annihilate any concept of a border all while denying that he's doing precisely that.

It's been a shit show from start to finish. The fact that so many people have lied, brazenly, to attempt to obscure the obvious, speaks volumes about why Americans don't trust the media.

In another day and age, the NY Times carried some sort of weight. Sure, even back then it was pompous to think that people looked to partisan journalists to tell them how to vote, but at least they reported the news. Now, this editorial board column merely amounts to an admission of partisanship, both in its tone and attacks on Republicans and in its belated acknowledgement of what has been obvious all along.

Political correctness is the pettiest form of casuistry.

– Procopius
