I think I'll say OK for now. But I agree with DK's idea that if either one of those "protected" is behaving obviously scummy, the pledge is considered broken. (I doubt that a real pledge will help anyway as the biggest thing that can happen to one that breaks it is a "OMGUS"-post.)

Doesn't take away the feeling that you're trying to hide yourself behind Hobo and me, Isaac. Just a slight feeling I keep getting. A lot of words you need for something that basically tells us not to kill you. Which is also basically my answer to DK's question a bit up: you seem to need a lot of words to explain something that you think is easy. I understand from comments from other players that you tend to be quite verbose, but since you told us that the game is suffering from inbreeding, I think you would appreciate my fresh perspective. You need too much words.

As to your question, before I answer it, let me ask the rest of the players: aren't those that answer "yes" more likely to be roles? And therefore not good cannon fodder for the NIPZ?
For example, suppose I'm superman, but I'm vanilla. I would have to say no. But if I'm a roleblocker (with some flavor), I'd say yes.
Anybody that comes out of any kind of setting will have to say no if they're vanilla. Then we have some of those that have a role that are not consistent: No. And those that have a role consistent with their character with a role: yes

It'd say this is question is compiling a nice and neat NK list for the scum.
