RAFO Mafia 18 - Day 1: Pirates versus Ninjas Fanatic-Templar Send a noteboard - 28/08/2010 03:58:14 AM
The Crook and Hook cut an imposing silhouette as it sliced through the small island-dotted waters of the Shipbreaker Sea. The ship's deck and rigging were crawling with jolly, boisterous seamen. And the reason these seamen were so jolly and boisterous was that they were pirates, on their way to Ninja Island.

Now, there were no ninja on Ninja Island of course. The name was just some ninja trickery meant to deceive pirates into not looking for their real home. Still, pirates like the crew of the Crook and Hook liked to go over to that island to get drunk and piss everywhere as a way of taunting their eternal foes.

The Captain swaggered into view. "Ahoy, me hearties! Off we be to show them lily-livered landlubbers o'er thar what's for, aye?" He barked, nodding his head in the general direction of Ninja Island. Crewmen looked up from their previously established jolly boisterousness to answer their Captain. "Aye!"

"And them scurvy dogs don't be likin' it none, nay?" He continued. The pirates, now enthusiastic, yelled back "Nay!"

"And me matey Jack Leadboots didn't find hisself at the down bottom o' Shipbreaker Sea by hisself none, nay?" The crew wasn't sure what to say to that. Hadn't old Lead-booted Jack stayed ashore at their last port? "Err... nay?" one of them tentatively answered.

"The point be, lads, they be already on this here ship, follow? And we can't just let that be, me hearties. So could the yellow-bellied landlubbers step forth and be so kind as to be helpfully walk the plank for us?"

For some reason - no doubt some of that legendary ninja trickery - none of the crewmen seemed eager to step forward. The Captain frowned at this. "Well, if they don't be no coming themselves, then we be needing to find them, aye?"

"Arrr!" Came the enthusiastic shout from the crew. Hunting for ninjas was one of their most beloved pastimes.
