It was a bad idea at the time, and in retrospect it has been proven worse.

Let's say we did go along with your suggestion. First of all, who in this game is easier to read as scum than anyone else? And if they're likely to be more obvious anyway, why would we need to give them more power to set up the trap?

Now let's say such a player did exist in this game, and we voted for them to go on the treasure hunt. What would have happened? They become harder to lynch. That clearly is not helpful to the town in any way whatsoever.

I'm not voting for you because I don't want to see you lynched on Day 1 for a stupid mistake two games in a row, but you're not really making it easy.
