No, some had run ins where they displeased the gods, but its usually brought up in context of what they did to make the gods less ticked off, never really anything that verged on open defiance. I also feel obliged to point out again that most mythologic heroes we know of are from the late helladic, Hercules, Jason and the Argonuats, Perseus, etc are all late helladic. The ones who are inclined to that sort of attitude are pretty much the auto-bads, like Pelops and Tantalus.

I think its a bad idea to assume that just since 11 of 13 character claimed two eras, each around 400+ years long, that they all revolve around a short time and place, like Troy, its just that virtually all the well known Greeks are from those two eras, because there was a big dark age in between them.
