So I'm not sure if the RM poem is connected to the other two, but the day 2 poem seems to pick up from the day 1 poem, the "dead may keep their tales" seems to be a safe reference to the lack of role in posthumous messages, the 'voice on high will conceal' would seem to reference our Mod, and it makes me wonder who the 'man on the lake' might be, a NPC, one of us, ? perhaps? I also wonder who the narrator is, I could see that as the Mod's voice or the scums' or the cop's or various other options, and I'm curious for people interpretations... I've also got two quick things I want pursue and I'll follow up with those in a separate post, one is likely a bum lead, pair of leads in fact, and the other is strategic. Anyway, while I have no reference to any sort of character in my own RM, and everyone has said as much themselves, I do get the nagging feeling we do have 'named' characters, and I don't think FT writes these as pure flavor or red herring.
