As for having shorter ciphers in the future... we'll see. As you will recall, I was against this from the beginning, and I didn't want to make it easy on anyone. I had no intentions of ever actually claiming anyway, but we all saw how that turned out.

Also, I may have an ulterior motive for using codes of increasing complexity that will culminate in a devious scheme in some future game.

Tis' why I always check them anyway, and like them thorough and short. My advise to players would be not to permit particularly long or abstract coding methods, as eventually it would lead to someone being able to bluff.
