People are in the habit of trying to get a read on me, and tend to engage in the process called 'filtering' when doing so, akin to someone hearing that more babies are born on the full moon and thus paying attention to it. Most see normal or lower birth rate, and it drops out of their head, others see a higher birth rate by coincidence, and lock onto it as true. Personally I can never get a read on anyone in a useful fashion, and I'm pretty sure I'm better at reading people than most and also better with the metaphorical poker face then most, but I do check into these things when someone mentions an apparent tell and they always come up blank on inspection.

The 'verbosity tell' has been proposed before, way back, and I actually checked my post and word count in prior games to see if it was true and found a slight negative correlation, I doubt that's changed. I get verbose when I'm enthused or frustrated by a topic, it's not defensive, I get excited when accused and I don't actually care if I'm guilty or innocent. It just so happens that I almost never get accused without the person thinking they have a wall of evidence, and something like a copping will tend to do that.

There have been 4 occasions in the last two years of play I've had voting on me:

Last Game: Guilty, copped, survived.
Game 24: Was voted on for making prior game confusing (Fox )
Game 21: Innocent
Game 19: Guilty, Copped, first and only time lynched

Not exactly a massive track record of defense, most remaining votes on me are either OMGUS or jokes like Game 24. I'm suspected all the time, by everyone, so it's not like suspicion bugs me. Players are very reluctant to try to go after me, it tends to fail, and scum prefer to use a NK to take me out, so it just doesn't come up much. When it does I enjoy it, if defenses have been longer, and I defy that 3 cases including 1 in which I was innocent and 2 in which I was copped qualify as a pattern, it just means I tend to go into deep detail when I think its called for.
