Xanthe lets the women lead her away with a minimal amount of struggling, despite her internal rage. She keeps her mouth closed, and hopes that only Maravin has enough sense to serve the wine to the soldiers regardless of her epic failure. She's taken beatings before, and it's not like she has any incriminating papers or objects on her ... well, other than the poison. And the knives. Great Lord, this could be a sticky situation. First chance, she plans to run as far away as fast as possible.
