Alessandro stood perfectly still, hands held behind his back, thinking over the proposed deal.

"Werewolf, I cannot promise anything in the name of the King. I can, however, offer you alliance with myself and, through me, my Sire, the Cardinal Louis Montfort."

Stepping forward, Alessandro smiled. "My Sire is the Duke of the Night that reigns over the clergy. If you ally with him, you will have agents everywhere the Church sends priests, nuns, or crusaders. He will expect you to pass along any interesting information you come across, and will in turn send information that you might find useful."
