Maite rose from her chair and walked to her front door. She opened the barred peek hole on her door and looked over her visitor.
Stepping back, she opened the door and stood aside for her guest.
"Padre Alessandro, I presume. Please, come in and make yourself comfortable."
She looked up on the banister near the front entrance, "Come on down, Andreas. I must hope you need not fill our guest with holes tonight."
"Aww, shucks." He set aside the holy water drenched bolts and crossbow and trotted down the stairs.
Maite turned back to the Padre and gestured him into her sitting room.
"Please. Sit."
