Do you think it's relevant that the crack in Amy's bedroom was the only one that wasn't glowy and white? It was also the only one the Doctor was able to close. Perhaps it was doing so that caused them to begin opening elsewhere? Sending the energy that was slowly trickling through her wall (remember, the crack made her feel uneasy, I think the Doctor asks her if "it feels wrong", but I haven't started rewatching yet) rippling throughout time and space like a timey-wimey tidal wave?


Is that only the cracks that lead to the end of the universe have the glow. The ones that lead to other places and time maybe don't?
