Also, what's up with the explosions at the end? It looks like all the ships around Earth are either exploding or ... setting off fireworks to celebrate the capture of the Doctor? Do Daleks set off fireworks?


Could it be every sun going supernova?


Though I think if the Sun went supernova the Earth would be blown to bits. Disregarding the fact that the Sun is not large enough to go supernova at the end of its life, of course. But that is beside the point, I do believe. ;)
