If it had absolutely no continuity connection to the tv series. Make it 100% stand-alone. Have Depp be the one, the first, the only Doctor, give him a TARDIS and a companion, introduce the Daleks as brand new enemies meeting the Doctor for the first time, and go from there. Then I'd be okay with it.

If they tamper with the show at all for the sake of a big budget movie, I will be upset.
