I didn't vote for the remastered version!
We had to watch the new ones because "there was more Boba Fett".
I said we should watch the original ones, and then when other people wanted the remastered ones I gave in because there would be the consolation prize of more Boba Fett, but that is in the third film! Not earlier.
Actually, Boba Fett was added to the first film in the revised version, in the scene where Jabba confronts Han on Tattoine. He was not originally present when the scene was shot (and the scene itself wasn't added until the re-release). So there is "more Boba Fett" in A New Hope than there used to be. And he is thankfully silent and non-talkative.
