Wow. Awesome. Makes it all the sadder how bad the others were, but oh well.

I loved it, and found very, very little to complain about. Yes, the red bands around the Death Eaters' arms are utterly tasteless, but it's just a replacement for other Nazi references that Rowling makes in the book that didn't make it to the movie, so, okay.
A number of brilliant finds and deftly handled exposition, including (in random order) Hermione's memory spell on her parents, the Deathly Hallows story, the conversation with Doge and that other woman (although it seems they're either going to cut a fair bit about Dumbledore or still have to do more exposition in the sequel), and, yes, the dancing scene. It's a bit random, but it worked for me, and I didn't interpret it as Harry-Hermione shipping, though I can see of course how some would see it that way.

I figure it's fair. I mean, the universe has to make up for you being you sometimes, right?

I'm thinking you'd be really, really, really confused. It might be a bit like surrealist art.

But the 7th book relies so heavily on the 6th, it would be pretty impossible.

It's about as influential as Star Wars, which I guess depends on how influential you think SW is.
