It depends a lot on which episode you watch. Some are very silly, some less so. Which Doctor was it? The first couple of episodes of the new series are not fantastic, but it gets better.

I can't remember right off.

Have you watched Alias?

I have not.

You might like it. It is something between Fringe and Lost: Lost (from what I can tell, not having seen much of it) let you go too long without any form of resolution, not having enough of an episode feel; Fringe overcompensates by introducing random episodes which have nothing to do with the plot. Alias... you have to see every episode, but it is episode structured. It has spies, ancient mythical artifacts and Jennifer Garner, Gina Torres and Victor Garber (as well as Lena Olin and Isabella Rosselini) and a lot of other good actors.

FWIW, Angel is a much better character on his own show than he was on Buffy. *NM* - 13/12/2010 11:17:50 PM 459 Views
