Demonstrating that beauty is subjective, I strongly disagree

Many of the important females in the books are described as great beauties. Cersei comes to mind. Sansa and Daenerys, too. Of the three, only Daenerys comes close in the show. Cersei seemed a little on the old side, and Sansa, well, Sansa was downright plain looking. I was a little disappointed by her in particular, as a lot of her interactions in the book revolve around her looks.
I didn't think Sansa was at all plain, plus she's not meant to be a beauty yet in the books: how attractive can an 11 year old be? The point of her beauty in the books is that she Reminds Littlefinger of Cat and arouses lust in a teenager and some other men with less than spotless sexual histories when much more vulnerable or exposed than at this point. I'll agree on Cersei, but as standards of attractiveness are different when applied to people in power, I still buy the hype about all 3 characters and I think the actresses played the characters really well, which is of so much more importance than specific subjective ideas about looks in any show that wants to be taken seriously that I can't bring myself to care about discrepancies in looks.
Oddly, I didn't mind Catelyn at all. Maybe I just don't remember her very well, but I thought she was great in the show. Her personality and inner strength was perfect, and she's definitely someone I can see transitioning into the post-red-wedding Cat from the books.
I agree
And the answer came to her instantly: pride. Oh, you hear them say it's a sin; you hear them say it goes before a fall. the shepherd prides himself on keeping the wolf out from the flock. We pride ourselves on making a good history of our lives, a good story to be told.
