Poor Amy - just WHAT were they planning to do with her?

Well, they said that she would bring the Silents. And they were already there. So I guess they're engineering their own invasion of Earth by seeding something inside her to do in the past at some point.

What confuses me is when the Silents actually came. One would expect they'd be there two thousand years ago since they're the ones who caused the TARDIS to explode, but at the same time, the Vampires of Venice claimed to have seen the silence (and remembered them?) and fled their homeworld because of it. So why come to Earth, if there were already Silents there?


It sounded like they had been here since the dawn of manking (the fire and the wheel). And it also sounds like they are elsewhere in the universe. It complicates matters for an interstellar traveller.
