Poor Amy - just WHAT were they planning to do with her?

Well, they said that she would bring the Silents. And they were already there. So I guess they're engineering their own invasion of Earth by seeding something inside her to do in the past at some point.

What confuses me is when the Silents actually came. One would expect they'd be there two thousand years ago since they're the ones who caused the TARDIS to explode, but at the same time, the Vampires of Venice claimed to have seen the silence (and remembered them?) and fled their homeworld because of it. So why come to Earth, if there were already Silents there?


Perhaps on the Space-Fish Planet the Silence moved on to Part II of the plan, which involved actively kicking the Space Fish out. Perhaps on Earth the Silence are still on Part I, which involves secrecy. Maybe that's what they were referring to when they told Amy that she would bring the Silents. Initiation of Plan Part II maybe? Whatever the deal is, creepster little girl is obviously involved.

Hey, remember how River said that empires would kill for a piece of Time Lord DNA? Maybe that's what the Silents are trying to do, build themselves a Time Lord ... obviously for some nefarious purpose. Probably involving a home-made TARDIS. Huh.
