I think it will become a major point and I'm not to sure this fits with the people getting what they deserve. Remember that eventually the starks become pretty evil to, and we only know from the point of view of the winners anything about the old king...can they really be trusted as narrators?
People getting what they deserve is just my hope for the very end of the series
I don't see characters like Cersei, Littlefinger, Theon or The Mountain surviving this. You can't write a book series for decades and then have an evil character get away with anything. Martin does a great job hiding it, but in the end he will make the right decisions about who is good and evil.I also fail to see how the Starks become evil. Caitlyn has her self-righteous moments before and especially after her death, yes, but the kids are all great, even Arya, who is an assassin after all. For me the whole series is based on them getting revenge and redemption for everything that happened to their family in book one. Martin's not gonna stab them in the back anymore towards the end. Bran, Jon, Sansa and Arya are gonna be among the few winners when the dust settles.
It is pretty obvious to me at least that the white walkers can only be defeated by the dragons and Dany will eventually have to become queen, wether she deserves it or not. Her son is the prince that was promised after all.
Definitely. Although I see her teaming up with Jon for it.
I don't know. GRMM is a pretty big atheist and his philosophy seems to go toward the all people are evil just in different degrees. This may end up like the subtle knife with the people who take over later being just as evil just different. As for the starks being evil I refeer to the assisan and what cersi does after her death...I mean I can't wait to see how they are going to do the wedding feast scene in feast of crows..I mean even for HBO the blood count there is pretty high.
It freaked me out when I read it...putting the head of a wolf on a decapitated body...thats pretty grimm
But we will see this season how far they go I guess when Joffery is supposed to show sansa her fathers head...there is going to be so much hate for his little butt soon (where are they filiming this by the way...I wonder if the actor is going to get booed when he walks down the street
