I saw the movie in 2D, so I don't know how it was 3D, but at that point in the movie, it just seemed to me like they were messing around in Chicago. About the time they went into the building getting attacked by Mecha-Sandworm, I was just ready for the movie to end. Those sequences didn't give me anything at all, and I was just sitting there waiting 20 minutes for a climax (That's what she said).

All-in-all, a fun movie, maybe I'll watch it again and I'll see if I can see what you're saying. But it seemed to me the ending dragged waayyy too much.

I wonder how one can call it a fun movie if not for the action finale, which admittedly was long. But I rather have one that's too long than an underwhelmingly short one.
