Yep, snacks are so expensive in the big multiplexes, yet people buy it all: drinks for each, nachos, popcorn. The cinema would be stupid not to charge it, apparently people don't mind paying.
I did that once and I haven't done it since. When I paid for a small box of candy for myself, nachos for my wife, and two small drinks the snacks turned out to be more than double the price of the tickets. All that because we didn't want to stop at the dollar store and sneak in $4 worth of candy and soda.
