I know that I would have found the twists and mysteries of Lost annoying as he'll if I had watched it as it was airing. I likely wouldn't have stuck with it the whole time. I find that watching shows like that are much more enjoyable when viewed back-to-back-to-back. Much like when my wife and I watch shows like The Shield, Fringe, and Lost.
