And if there's any chance at all of your wanting to watch it again at some point down the line, it's pretty much a no-brainer.

And I should think that the Americans among us would be still more motivated to watch shows on DVD instead of television, what with the humongous amounts of time they lose on commercials when it's on television... (excepting HBO and the like, obviously). Though nowadays you can fix that particular problem with TiVo and the like, true.
