Maybe I could see owning some if they were true classics, but otherwise, I don't see the point.

Perhaps someone could explain it to me, please.


I don't see what the show's status as a "true classic" has to do with anything. If you want to watch it more than once, it makes sense to own the DVDs.

You might as well say "I don't understand the concept of owning books."
